SUNSET SUBSTATION PARK Design 2010 Sunset Substation Park is a community designed, neighborhood pocket park on a decommissioned City Light utility Substation. The project creates both much needed open space and 35,000 kWh of solar power annually. The park also serves as an emergency relief center in the case of disaster. Sunset Substation Park is one of seventy five projects worldwide designed to meet the Living Building Challenge - the highest standard for sustainable construction.
