MAZAMA, WASHINGTON

When designing for Mazama, Washington there must be a balance between the demands of snow country and summer heat. Plus, the desire to open up the home to the natural beauty that surrounds it.

This cabin underwent an exterior renovation to address climate conditions, including snow build against the structure, windows, and entries. The design incorporated verandas at ground level and a redesign of the roof structure. ⠀
