TWO OPPORTUNITIES
OPPORTUNITY: Project Manager 8+ years experience
Location: Seattle, WA
We are looking for a new team member to handle some of our most complex projects, including early learning/educational, multifamily housing, mixed-use, and mission-driven institutional work. You would be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. You would serve as the primary liaison to clients to complete projects on schedule and within budget, with maximum client satisfaction, and actively manage project communications and documentation. There will also be opportunities to work on select single-family residential projects if desired.
Responsibilities include:

Highly organized project management
8+ years of experience
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited university is required
Licensure is preferred
Technical skills:
Proficient with architectural drafting software, preferably ArchiCAD (Note – we do not use AutoCAD or Revit). We will train if you don’t have ArchiCAD experience but are ready to learn.
Proficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office suite.
Certification in Passive House or LEED, energy modeling, and experience with sustainable construction systems and methods is preferred.

OPPORTUNITY: Design Associate with 0-3 years experience
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Description
Under the mentorship of a licensed architect/project manager, the candidate will work on a variety of small/custom residential projects with a focus on efficiently moving them through design, documentation and construction. The candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with the design and production of larger commercial, multi-family, and public architectural works. We always have a mix of project types, such as early learning centers, custom residential work, passive house, multi-family, housing policy consulting, and mixed-use work that require collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
First and foremost you are an exceptional designer who excels working in a collaborative and creative environment
A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks from the mundane to the extraordinary
Be able to identify, break down, and follow through with the complex requirements for permitting in multiple jurisdictions.
Solid verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university is required
Technical skills:
Proficient with architectural drafting software, preferably ArchiCAD (Note – we do not use AutoCAD). We will train you, if you don’t have ArchiCAD experience but are ready to learn.
Familiar with Affinity, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Capable of producing high-quality renderings with Lumion would be a huge plus but not required

Hourly wage. Assumes 52 weeks @ 40 hours per week
2 weeks paid vacation (80 hours)
6 paid holidays (48 hours)
3% of your income as an IRA match

Reimbursement for many of the costs of professional development and certification
Overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate for hours over 40 per week, although we try to limit overtime in general as a quality of life value but sometimes it is necessary.
We strive to provide an annual bonus for employees at the end of the year. The amount that we are able to distribute is subject to the firm's performance and profitability.
